Today Pascal Blasio was served a 20 year jail sentence after having been found unanimously guilty on 14th October 2019 of causing the New Ferry Explosion in March 2017.

Finally justice was served for the many victims of the horrendous crime, many of whom expressed that the length of the sentence finally proved to the world just how severe was the size and impact of the explosion, and how heinous the crime.

As reported in the Independent along with many other local and national press articles, during sentencing, Judge Teague told him: “You have exhibited human selfishness in an almost chemically pure state.
